The Deport : Part 1Not in the wildest of my dreams had i imagined that this would happen to me ! Today was going to be like any other normal day , except that i had no clue what was in store for me. So allow me to take you through the TRAUMA that i faced - all because some whackjob decided that i did not fit into his category. Flight QR 105 ...landed at Qatar Intl Airport at 06:55 am on a bright sunny morning. Passenger ( Pax ) disembarked from his flight and went straight to the immigration counter to get a visa on arrival. What the poor pax did not know , is that he could not get one..Get one ? What ? Get one - visa on arrival. Why ? Because some whackjob whose wife made him do the dishes and the laundry last night - simply decided that the pax did not fall into the so-called category. Now.. what category did the pax fall into ? only God Almighty can answer this question. So what happened next ? Read more25pm,and he was directed towards Qatar duty free ( which by the way sucks and can never come close to Dubai duty free for another 100 years ).Authorities at the airport were absolutely 100 % non co-operative. They refused to let the pax even have his passport - like he was some criminal.Pax currently holds the designation of an Asst Brand Manager and has a status of Food services supervisor on his UAE resident visa. But did not make it to the Oscar category laid down by the Airport whackies...
